Hey,
I'm in US right now and I had F-1 and I-94 for duration of status. I maintained fulltime status in college, but since I didn't comlete all the forms correctly while transfering from one school to another, my F-1 status was terminated. I asked for reinstatement, but it was rejected. Since it happened in the middle of semester I was advised to finish it.

Now I'm appling fo a canadian student visa. I don't have any papers on me because INS never sent them back. Will I have trouble geting cnadian visa? Can I be deported from US when I claim at Canadian embasy in New York that I'm out of status? Will visa rejecion here in Nw York affect any future attempts to get a canadian visa from other countries(including my country of birth)?
