Hi everyone,
I sent already the application to sponsor my husband (outland) a couple of weeks ago, but did not receive a file number yet. Meanwhile, our baby has received his canadian citizenship certificate. Should I inform them, that he got that in the meantime? Because proof of canadian citizenship from all family members is supposed to be sent as well? I guess they automatically have that information about our child?

I assume that you included the child on the IMM 5406, if not you have to send an updated copy.  You should should sent a copy of the babies citizenship certificate.  Wait until you have the overseas file no.
