Dear All,
I'm always looking forward to your updates and now I decided to share mine as I am the same timelines as yours. You can check my timeline on trackitt and my username is also "ericnzet". We submitted our documents to Ottawa on 21st April 2010 and on 15th Sept. I sent them an email inquiring about the status of my application and the same day got the following reply:
"Your file is in process. Please note that we cannot confirm receipt of documentation nor respond to status check enquiries for applications which are being processed within their Normal Processing times".
Also, my ecas is blank since July.
Thanks and looking forward to more updates.

Ya that's true, this is standard reply that they send to most of the files which are in process at the moment. I got same reply twice when i send them some additional docs and i wanted to confirm whether they have received them.

Hi Ahmad, I've been going thru this forum as I have the same issue, hence my name I submitted my docs in July (I was contacted in March10 to submit), it wasn't even enough time to collect all my documents, so I still have one police certificate to submit and an experience letter from an employer. I was wondering once I get these 2 docs should i just send them or wait to be contacted first, specially that i haven't heard from them at all, I know they have received it, the fedex track delivery said so. Appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you

Hi SinceOct07 and welcome! So how long have you been waiting again I wouldn't expect them to contact you. Just send the extra docs with a covering letter (file number etc), maybe with an email as well.

hi sinceoct07, they ask applicants to submit everything in one envelope at the same time. Thats why they give 4 months for that. You can certainly try by sending ur additional docs asap. Dont wait for chc to contact you as they might refuse you without asking for additional docs.

Hi everybody,
I have a question regard IELTS. For 2007 applicants who's documents are being processed by CPO. Do they calculate points for language based on the old system or the new changes? am wondering coz my score is (Writing: 6.5, Reading: 7, Speaking: 7, Listening: 8.5).
Old System: (for total of 16 points) Writing: 7 Band Reading: 7 Band Speaking: 7 Band Listening: 7 Band
New system: (for total of 16 points) Writing: 6.5 Band Reading: 6.5 Band Speaking: 6.5 Band Listening: 7.5 Band
