Hi All

Is it compulsory to submit original transcripts in University sealed envelopes as I already have been issued an original from the university and am not sure if they will issue it again.
Moreover  I dnt stay in India now but live in UAE and it is very difficult to get the same from there.I have got the transcripts notarised will that be sufficient?

please advise Qorax and other seniors.

thanks in advance

When you send documents it's good to send all notarized copies of transcripts and degree certificates, when VO/CHC request you to submit original transcripts in sealed by University then you have to contact your university. At present mostly all government recognized universities issue transcripts for immigration. if you dont get any respond from university then you can explain to CHC in written reason why you dont able to submit original transcript or if you have written correspondance by university you can submit it too, but this all after request by your local VO/CHC.
My case is in-process still I dont get any request for original transcript or degree submittion. I submitted notarized copies only.

Hi,

There are services available online which you can use to get any work done in India like transcripts etc.
https://www.yourmaninindia.com/

And Always send whats been asked. Sending Original transcripts make your eligible as per the requirements and not sending them and sending a photocopy which is attested notary makes it vulnerable to delay due to more scrutiny and even rejection (Depending upon the visa officer)

Send Original if you can

Regards

Yes, I agree with Rocky. Try your best to get the original transcript. Nowdays, all the universities in India issue original transcripts in sealed enevelope. You have to pay some fees and the transcript will be available within 1 - 4 weeks. If you are living abroad, you can ask somebody in India to aproach the university and collect it on your behalf. You have to write an application letter and attach all your marksheets(photocopy) of your course duration and photocopy university certificate.

If the university, in any case not at all issuing the transcript then do as suggested by member OMM.

BTW, what is the name of your university? If it is same as mine, then you are almost done.

HI Ayazf.

I think that we just have to submit the notarized photocopies of certificates and degrees only not scripts or mark sheet.

Hi Ayazf,
You try to arrange the transcripts from ur college or university. If they r not willing to re-issue ask them to write a letter on their letter head addressing Canadian immigration that transcripts were issued earlier and there is no provision for a re-issue. Now u can send this letter with the notarised photo copy of ur earlier issued transcripts. It will work fine.
