Original transcripts - which one out of these two !!

Pardon me if i sound bit ignorant here. Talking about original transcripts to be sent in uni sealed envelope, still little confused on what i am supposed to send out of the following two
1. I had 8 terms in my engineering 4 years degree course, and at the end of each term, uni used to give me detailed marks of the term on a card, probably DMC (detailed marks certificate). I have total 8 of these.
2. At the end of my engineering i got a provisional certificate and a paper on which total marks that i have obtained in each term were mentioned, one paper having marks of all 8 terms (i doubt this may be transcript). Degree usually we get later when a convocation is arranged.

To claim my educational points i need to send a notorised copy of my degree + which item out of these two mentioned above in uni sealed envelop.
Lastly, shall we be getting our original docs (including transcripts) back irrespective of the out come of our application !!!

To be more clearer...

to claim points for your education u need to send the following...

1. Original transcripts ( Contact your university and find out the process to get one- there might be a charge involved)..They come in sealed envelopes from the university. Pls dont try to open the sealed covers.

2. Notarised Degree certificate, consolidated mark sheet and individual semester mark sheets (All of them should be notarised)..
