Hi. This is my first post on this great forum. My wife (from Australia) and I are preparing to begin the whole immigration process. Will she need to send an original of our marriage certificate or can it be a notarized photocopy? Also, besides that and a police report, medical info, and proof of a real relationship, are there any other items that should be included with the application?

Thanks for any help.

go down the document checklist, it will tell you what have to be originals and what can be copies. i sent a photo copy of our marraige cert, and all the other things like birth cert, data page of passport etc.non certified mind you.you will have to send this document checklist along with your application to cic-mississauga when completed so make sure you have it printed out with the rest of your forms.
