Hello,

Ready to send in the package to Mississauga.  My Sponsorship application and my Wife's App. for permanent residence.  They both have document checklists.  My document checklists makes sure her papers are all complete etc. as well as mine of course.  Any suggestions on how to organize them?  The bottom of my document checklist suggests to attach to all forms and supporting documents but just not sure.  I was thinking group my papers together with checklist in a folder. Group her papers together with her checklist in a folder. Proof in a seperate folder. All with large identifiers on the outside of the folders.

any insight or tips would be greatly appreciated. perhaps im being too anal?

Hi chrisosaki

No, you're not being too anal  Smiley  I was concerned how to put it all together too but after some searching on the forum, it seems that most people put it together the way the checklist reads.  The principal applicant's checklist seems to be incorporated into the main checklist.  Folders seem to be not a good idea (I'm not sure if somewhere it says not to use them but I could be mistaken).  Most people paperclip the groups of documents together and then use rubber bands to bind them.  The less hassle the VO has with opening and collating your application the better.  I used tags on mine, some people don't like them.  It's a personal choice I guess.

Hi, Yes that's exactly what we did... but instead of folder we used an envelop. 1 for the sponsor, 1 for the applicant and 1 paper string envelop for the proof of relationship. Lastly we put all 3 envelop in 1 big paper string envelop. GOODLUCK TO ALL OF US! Smiley
