This may be a silly question. Tongue

I just got my option c printout.  Can I open the letter or does it need to be sealed in its envelop when I send it in?

Thanks! Smiley

you can open it and attach it in your file without the envelope.

In the option c letter it states that my marital status is "single".  I got married outside of Canada, is that why it still states that Im single. Will this be a problem?? :S

revenue canada will not know that you are married untill you fill out a form and send it to them (forgot the form #, just look it up on their website "martial status change" i think)

I hope it saying "single" doesnt affect anything cuz I did the same thing. You can always send it in now and send them another one later that says "married"

Thanks!! I found the form (its RC65).  Now that I'm thinking about it, it is showing my 2008 year and I wasn't married at that time.

I will fill out the form to inform them I'm married now.
