does this option c printout have to be from 2006 tax year? hubby hasnt filed 2006 yet. so was wondering if it could be from 2005.

I would think that depending on what time of year people file their applications this would happen quite a lot!  I would go ahead and send the 2005 printout with a note that 2006 has not yet been filed. 

If your application is still in process when you receive 2006 you could send it then or just wait and see if CIC request it.
