I work in IT and would like to move to Quebec. This usually qualifies for the simplified entry process.
However, I'm wondering if I can apply for an open work visa as my common law partner (not married) will be returning to work in Quebec.
Can I apply for this and live here under a tourist visa for 6 months or do I have to apply from outside Canada?
Is the open work visa quicker than applying under the normal sponsor process?
