Can some one advise if I can put an open work permit application in with an inland application and
if so what is the time frame to be allowed to work

Is your current status still valid? Yes, you can include an OWP with your inland PR application. If your status is currently valid then you will want to have the OWP included with the PR application and have it received by Vegreville before your current status expires. If it does then you will remain on "implied status" even after your status expires so you will not need to keep extending your stay as the OWP will keep you valid status until you hear about AIP but ONLY if they receive it and your PR application before your current status expires. You will then receive the OWP if you are approved for AIP which currently takes 9-10 months from the time they receive your application to hear about a decision.
