open work permit renewal

My open work permit will expire jan 2013. Im planning to renew it by jul 2012. My plan is to resign fr0m my current employer june2012. Can i renew my permit without an employer on that time? Thamk you

hi bitoyzz we can renew owp even we dont have an employer. you can declare your self self employed by that time.
