Hi every one. I am working in Toronto on an open work permit after finishing my studies. My wife is in Pakistan and I want her to come here as soon as possible. I read on cic web site that my wife can apply for an Open work permit there in Pakistan and for that she does not need to have Labour Market Opinion. Now my main question is regarding the work permit application form. While I was filling the information for my wife work permit there are few fields that required information regarding employer in Canada but as she is applying for open work permit that does not required job before applying. So what should I fill in these columns.
I also wana discussed that she got rejected for her visit visa once and our permanent resident application also in process. Does these gona cause any problems or not. Your help will be really appreciated.

I think she needs to have a visit visa before she can get a work permit.  I also don't think she can apply for an open work permit from Pakistan.  If she was visa exempt, she could apply at the border, otherwise from in Canada after she comes on a visit visa.

I believe you need to send your open work permit along with your wife's application in Pakistan. They would then issue a visitor's visa for your wife, along with a letter for an open work permit. At the Point of Entry, your wife  would present the letter and would be given an open work permit.
