Open work permit and part-time study

Hi guys,
My wife has been offered admission in a full time Ph.D program in Ottawa, and I shall be applying for the open work permit as her spouse. I know that an open work permit holder can't study full time in Canada, but can he study part-time?

Well, I and my wife have received our visas. My wife got her student visa while I have got my open work permit visa. Both the visas are of four years duration. We will have to reach Ottawa before the 1st of January, 2012 as my wife's classes shall start from 2nd January, 2012. Yes, please remain in touch.

I wud like to submit, yesterday only i have receive DM which is not a gud sign. so i am thinking other way as well.

plz tell me one thing, my wife had done PG in biotechnology in 2004, if she wishes to pursue her studies, can she go?

one more thing plz, how can I secure open work permit.
