Hello,
I was trying to figure out how this scheme works. My brother doesnt qualify under the skilled work visa due to not having experience in one of the 38 job types. However his laptop engineer job is listed in skills B list and I assume qualifies for the PNP scheme?
How does he go about applying for this? Is there a points system? The ontario site is very vague and just takes u CIC skilled worker section when u click the apply link so at a loss

If he wants to apply for PNP, he'd need a job offer. If he had a job offer, he could also apply for skilled worker so same thing. The Quebec skilled worker doesn't need a job offer, doesn't use the list of 38 and has it's own points system, he could try that.

He didnt seem to get in with the Quebec one.
Trying to advise him what to do. There are a few laptop repair jobs ive pointed him at using this sites job search. He only has his GCSE's with regards to quals though apart from manufacturer certifications but has over 6 years experience mending laptops.
I did mention to him to take some qualifications to improve his scores. With a job offer and with me being in Canada he would be on 72 points but I think the job offer may be hard to get

Yes, a job offer may be hard to get. One way to try the Quebec thing is learn French, that will pull up your scores a bit.
