Hi,

I had a few queries regarding this Ontario PNP - "Opportunities Ontario" program:

1) I was planning to do a 1 year Post Graduation diploma course in Advertising management from Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, will i qualify for  'Opportunities Ontario - Provincial Nominee Program'?

2) After completion of my 1 year PG diploma course, I'll apply for Post Graduation Work permit which will be for 1 year, So I'll be in Canada for 2 years (1 year PG studies and 1 year PGWP), so is this time (2 years) enough for me to apply for 'Opportunities Ontario - Provincial Nominee Program'? When Should I apply in these 2 years?

3) Once I apply to  'Opportunities Ontario - Provincial Nominee Program'. will i get a work permit? or should I apply for PGWP?

4) Will my Employer have to demonstrate recruitment efforts for hiring Canadians / PR's for the same position?

5) To qualify for 'Opportunities Ontario - Provincial Nominee Program' should my offer of permanent / full-time employment from an Ontario employer be related to my field of study?

I would appreciate your insights and guidance.

Thanking you.

Regards,
Merwyn Xavier
