No, I got the email before I sent out my IELTS test report form. And they did mention in the email that I had to submit it before the end of June.

Yes, in the email, i found this:
File Number: NRON followed with 7 digits

I remember they promise to send you a litter notifying if they get your documents by the end of July in the instruction mannual.

They must be sending out the File nos of the applicants as and when they receive their documents.
Maybe we will get it later as getting a file no has nothing to do with selection of the candidate its just an acknowledgement. I still have to send my IELTS score. Do we need to send the original or a certified copy will do ?

they asked for original copy of the ielts. you can keep the certified photocopy and send the original

   @   iyikk : Your examination center will also send copies if you want, you need to request them in 1st month after appearing and it would be free of cost so you can retain your original.

Got this response from Opportunities Ontario:

Thank you for your inquiry about the Opportunities Ontario:  Federal
Skilled Worker Pilot Program.

If Opportunities Ontario has received your FSW application package and
any other supporting documents, we will contact you by the end of July
to let you know that we have your application.  Should Opportunities
Ontario require any additional information and/or documents, we will be
in contact.  Opportunities Ontario will also notify you of the outcome
of your application by the end of November 2012.  Please do not contact
us on the status of your application.l

did you apply for this on your own or through cohen ? . When did you submit your application as well as your IELTS results.

 @ ittiam : Not sure whom u are asking but in my case applied on my own, I don't think you will need anyones help in this.

I believe some have but i have not. Can those that have gotten the email let us know their NOC and the date their application was received by ontario fsw.
