I will be eligible for CEC application in Sep 2012; although I have sent in my application for nomination to this pilot, I am wondering if I would be better off with CEC instead.

This program caters to only pre 2008 backlog files and without an invitation request from CHC you will not be able to apply under this scheme.

I would suggest you apply for the CEC class as they will not accept your application for this particular program.

Thanks for your response. I did receive the invite letter and sent in my application under this pilot on 19Apr2012. I had also applied under FSW in Aug 2007 from New Delhi.

I believe they close CEC in 6 months, whereas this seems like its going to take longer than a year if I hear you guys right.

Yes this process will definitely be longer.. once approved you need to apply to CIC in next 6 months which can definitely take you around a year.. and during that time they might come up with some different ideas who knows.

How did you know pradeeshma?....did CIC announce any official stmt? if so plz share the link !!

I got a notification:
Opportunities Ontario will notify you of the outcome of your application by the end of November 2012.

I got my results today.. appeared on 12th may.. got 8 band score..

I too received it last week. Came via email saying wait for Nov end. I never communicated anything with them

By e-mail, and it seems i got a new file number for this program.

Due to the limited number of spaces available in this Pilot initiative, not all applications may be processed. Opportunities Ontario reserves the right to process select applications. We will contact you if we require additional information and/or documentation. Opportunities Ontario will notify you of the outcome of your application by the end of November 2012.
