Hi Guys ,
Got my passport request in mail. It was sitting in the mail box from Friday .Just checked it and saw the mail dated Jul 14 th .
( Gave such a shout that a old ,lady standing near me with a cat dropped the cat ) ...
Good luck to all those in waiting and may this coming week and all the following ones bring good tidings
to everyone.

Just saw my Passport request in mail. It must have been sitting in the mail box from Friday.
The letter is dated - Jul 14 th.
( Gave such a shout that the old lady standing me ,dropped her cat).

Visa office is LA ... My ecas still says - We started processing your application on xxxxx date. We transferred your application to LA consulate on xxxxx date. The LA office might contact you ..... Hi Guys ,

That's great ....actually LA seems to not update the eCas that often. Someone else also got the PPR this week from LA but the eCas still says the same as you . By the way are you planning to submit the passport in person to LA CIC (is there such a provision that you know of?) |

I have actually decided to send it via mail . Though I am not sure if there is an option to get it directly like the NY consulate. Visa office is LA ... My time lines.
AOR received date:12 May 2009
Medicals sent:23 May 2009
File transferred to Local consulate(NY): 20 May 2009.
eCas not updated saying medicals recevied. Hope i will hear good news soon
