Rasco,

Did you contact LA about your medicals?

I am guessing that they sent my IA after getting the Medical reports from Ottawa. It won't be a bad idea to bring it to their attention that you are in the queue for a while.

Taps ,

When you received reply from NY ? It seems they responded to your query exactly after 90 days of transfer which is also mentioned in the transfer letter from Buffalo.

Maybe you are correct. I sent my query on 20th June but received reply this morning exactly after 90 days. It could be coincidence though.
My query to CIC NY was as follows
===
Request: Hello, I have applied for my Permanent Residence in Canada, application # B0xxxxxxxx. I have submitted all paperwork including medical reports. My family is planning to visit my in-laws for next two months in India. I wanted to ask if I receive passport request for COPR when they are on vacation, can I submit their passports when they return on 24th August or I will have to curtail their vacation plans? Please advise. Thanks and best regard, [Taps]

You can submit their passports, actually any representative of yours can submit and pick the passports up (they send a form where you and your representative sign)....my cousin is doing that for me in NY right now....
You can also submit it by mail, but they just send it back to US, Canada and Bermudas......
You have 60 days to choose between these options and submit passports...

Akk

Actually, my family had plans to visit India for two months so I wouldn't have had access to their passports. I wanted to know if I could send their passports beyond 60 days as mentioned in PPR letter (if I had received one). Eventually they cancelled their plans and stayed here, not to complicate the matter.

Hi,
Is it possible/allowed to land in Toronto and then proceed to Alberta?
Am planning to leave my family at a relative's place in Toronto (for few weeks) till things are setup in AB (Don't want to land in a totally unknown place with a toddler)
Will there  be questions in Toronto Airport during landing on why we are not landing in AB?
Also, I don't know anyone in AB. Is it ok to give that Toronto relative's address for sending the PR cards? Will there be any problems? Please advise.

By the way, Kudos to guys who have gotten the PPRs and stamped passports. Good to know the queue is steadily moving.

Forgot to ask this. Someone in this forum talked about entering to Canada multiple times using the stamped visa (given after PPR). Is it not a onetime visa and for subsequent entries, one has to have the PR card? Please confirm my understanding.
