Mountain View    Clarence Allegakoen    305 South Drive, Suite #6, California, 94040  - 650-810-5701

He was great. It was $400 out the door, and he sent the results within a week by express mail to Canada..

Has anyone had any experience with CAIPS File check to check the status of your application ? Just wondering if it is worth spending money on.

Hello albertaj - My online status shows processing started July 9th. There has been no change in status ever since. I am into project management.

it will take 5 weeks to get the CAIPS report after payment. I think u r still within the regular processing timeline.

Did your medical reach Ottawa. Usually if they receive it ecas gets updated within 3 weeks, saying Medical received . What does your online status say?

 Smiley received medicals yesterday.

I just wanted to update my app status so that it would help may/june applicants.

AINP Nomination Cert rcved date : 12/07/09
Nomination Cert exp date: 05/23/2010
CIC Application reached to Buffalo Ofice: May 12th, 2010. (Did not send FBI only .Got my FBI recently will send with AOR)
Check encashed date: June 14th ,2010
AOR and medical request forms rcvd : 08/23/2010

Also in the packet they have not asked for the FBI cert,Is it recommended to send the certificate using the stickers they have provided or wait for a formal request of the Cert later in the process.

Request from CIC for any missing docs will follow AOR in separate mail. I suggest you wait for them to ask for missing docs. Ensure that you have the FBI report within the original 3 month window.

btw we received my wife's fbi certificate and sent it out to our attorney in vancouver. so buffalo will receive it within a day or two.
With this we will have submitted all documents required.

Hello Joseph,

I check the Ecas this morning, i am able to see the status of my file now. It states that they have started processing my file last week.

you might want to try and see if they have started processing your application as well.

Your posts are very detailed and helped me immensely during the CIC app process , have wanted to say this for a long time but keep on forgetting Smiley.

I will try to update my status in the tracker as well .  Thanks for reminding about the 3 month validity period ...If I understand this correctly the certificate would be valid if it is dated within a 3 months window prior to the submission date.In my case the application reached on May 12th , the FBI certificate even though came in June was dated March 23rd ...hopefully this means it is valid.... :'(do not want to go through FBI hassle again.
