Looking at the recent landing experiences, appears that there is slightly inconsistent approach to granting PRs while entering by road. I have not seen recent landing experiences where PR folks landed directly in Calgary or Edmonton by air - can anyone post link to any such landing experiences that they've seen in the past? Thanks.
I will be posting about this information shortly. Stay tuned.....

Thanks for all your help so far guys. I have another situation here. I got some more information from other threads. I am still posting my question to get other views. As I said earlier, I received medicals yesterday. My wife is pregnant and she is due in 1 month. I came across two different views for this situation. We can do partial medical right now and finish rest later. One user ("Rajesh" if I remember correctly) did this and they received a letter from CIC on a later date to submit rest of the medical. Or we can do complete medical after our baby born. I guess I will call AINP and CIC right away to include our baby into the application and go from there. Also, I guess I can ask CIC for more time also right now so that we can do all medical together. What you guys think here?

You have 60 days for the medicals and I believe you dont need medicals for your child.

Hi, I have to get the medicals done this week and still am confused what photos to take the Medicals read to bring 2 passport size photos, the doctors office sugested to bring regular US Passport photos, Omar from the forum suggested it would be the photo size that we sent with our immigration application. Can somebody who has successfully got the Visa stamped suggest the appropriate photo size. This would answer lot of people waiting to get their Medical done I guess.
Thanks.

HI,
Please guide,
Number of Photographs to be included with Application sending out to CIC. What we have to write on the back side and for how many phatos. How we have to pack them. I mean do we have to staple them or no.
Waiting for advice ,
Thanks,

Thanks arajesh5 Hi Baranyaweb,
Sorry you did not get your PR cards applied for. But congrats on your PR. There is a way to apply for PR cards with an address in Canada. Just google for PR card + CIC, you should find all the information. However, I would stay away from doing so. If I were you, I would just use the travel document / COPR to travel into Canada .. n the reason being .. the form in CIC's website seems way too elaborate and scary! This generally means there could be quite a scrutiny.
Cheers now,

That is correct. The link to the copy of Medical Report Sections B-E which I posted yersterday is only for your reference (*It is not CIC website). The form you need to take to DMP office is Section A which CIC sends to you. I'm sorry if I confused you.

Guys
I need urgent help. I received medicals on Saturday and we are going for test tomorrow. I was looking at our Section A forms we received and I noticed that in my wife's form, they have her name and her father's name as first name(s). (There is no separate section for middle name.) In my form, they only have my first name in that section. I looked at our passports and we have first name and father's name together as given names.
Is it possible that since my wife's first name is very short, they included her middle name as well and my first name is long enough and they didn't add my middle name.
Should I let this go or what do I do?

This is the most common problem we face as in the given name first and middle name is added together due to unavailability of middle name section. I have the samething in my name and it was printed exactly the same. I would not worry too much about and make sure the name is exactly the same what it is on the passport. Hope this helps Guys
