I'm happy for you. Looks like Buffalo delays the AOR by one week for  one day added in January.

When I checked CIC site ,it shows it was last updated on 13th of MAY .

So might be they will update it shortly.

Second, I suppose you were able to look at the status only now after receiving the AOR/MR - or have you been already tracking it earlier?

Rajesh i only took 1100 USD cash with me. They asked me and i told them.... Nothing else. No proof of fund. If you are just going for few days you probably dont need to. But if you are planing to settle there than you better take proof.

Congrats on becoming a PR ...Have a quick question...For proof of fund is it ok, if we show him the bank statements or do we need to take anything like cashier's checks...Also i am planning to give my friend's address in calgary..is that ok..Please advise...

I am now in a Unique situation...

My wife is 3 months pregnant now... And my application process is in the stage where I have submitted my application to CIC and my checks have been encashed... waiting for medicals... I have a couple of queries..

1. How to handle the situation when my second baby is born?
2. How to go about my wife's medicals?

Any thoughts/inputs appreciated...

Talking about sending the complete application...

I received an email from the CIC with my file number B......101 asking me to send my Certificate of Nomination. The funny thing is I've sent it my CN with my application, back in Jan. So, maybe they misplaced somewhere. Anyhow, I have a copy of it that I made for my personal records and I'll send them right the way.

There's always an extra challenge, it's never clean and easy. But, this is what make it even more worthy!

I got nominated by Alberta and I have submitted the permanent resident application to the Buffalo office. What happens if I lose my job (Currently on H1-B) after applying to Buffalo office? Since I am n H1-B, I will have to go back to my home country (India), will my application gets void? Can I reapply from India?

What is general process under this situation?

Its not the case.I checked on the website and in the bottom it said "Last updated on 13th may 2010"

So I wrote it here.Nothing much.
