You will have to fill "buffalo, NY" there...all the ainp applications at cic are handled by buffalo only within US. at a later stage however buffalo cic at its discretion may transfer file to another consulate for speedy processing.

Can anyone help me understand in imm0008 Generic " APPLICATION OF PERM RESD In CANADA" CIC form
on "Visa Office Requested for Process Of yout Application" line what to write? do we always write "Buffalo NY" or any other visa office in USA?. I dont find the instructions for this line. I remember reading this somewhere that we can chose any other visa office for file process. I live in St Louis MO, can I write Detroit Michigan isntead of Buffalo? or any one can suggest me which visa office is fast in appication process?

Hi All,

I sent all the req documents (except my wife's FBI and new I797 which got approved after i sent the documents to CIC) to CIC on 24rth Mar '10.
And reached CIC on 25th Mar'10. On 22nd Apr'10 Check got Enchased.

Hi Guys,

I had sent in my application to CIC and the same reached on 30th March 2010.

The money gram got cashed on 22nd.

So I now would have to wait for the next level....

I note from our CIC tracker that none of the 2010 applicants have gone beyond the MO/Check encashed date. Is that so? Can folks on this thread please check the pdf file at http://tinyurl.com/AINP-Tracking-System  and let us know if your case (especially if your checks got encashed in Jan 2010) has progressed ?

I also request everyone who have applied in Jan 2010 and received their AOR to come out and share their AOR/ Medical Request dates. It will help in maintaining the spreadsheet current and a lot of people would feel better to see the CIC is actually working on our files and not just sitting on them.

I got my medical done on 12th March and my doctor send it to Ottawa on 25th March and today i found that still Ottawa has not received  my medical. I contacted my doctor and he said Ottawa guys are looking internally. So my question is if medicals are misplaced than do i need to do everything again. and my 60 day stuff was on over on 17th April. but i have already send the  receipts from my DMP to newyork as proof of medical done on 12th march. Guys please help me to understand what should i do if they don't get medical by next week ? and can my DMP generate all the reports again and send it back to them or do i need to take medical exam again.

An update, my cic application reached buffalo on March 26, the MO is pending to be cashed as of today, takes 1-5 days to be cleared.
how do we get AOR and medical requests? by mail or email?

Even though it's not my application but still it gave me immense happiness that our cases are not in cold storage at CIC. Though the number of days to get AOR has increased from what used to be last year.

That is great. Even though for Dec applicants the AOR was exactly 3 months. Jan applicants it looks like 3.5 months. Tomorrow will be 3 months for my app. Keeping my fingers crossed.
