I can understand your situation. But it appears that you should be fine. As your DMP sent email inquery and they responded back to. I would suggest you to get copy of that email from your DMP just for your reference. Or he can forward that email to you. So incase anything goes wronge ( Hope not though ) than u have some proof of communcation from ottwa and your DMP.

good luck.

P.S. I still can't wait to go home to check my mail today after jyde posted about PPR News. How many of you in the same boat like me?

Hi Nix1,

Do you know if we can ask them to mail it to a PO Box ?? I don't have any close friends in Canada when I am in the process of receiving the PR Card.

You could get a real address(not PO box) with mail forwarding etc from UPS canada. See http://www.theupsstore.com/products/maiandpos.html

NIX and DESPO,

I did e-mail to NY consulate for the sake of address change but they replied me as this:

Due to volume of applications, we will only respond to request for
application status if processing period posted on our website has been
exceeded. Please visit: http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/new_york

Disclaimer: By supplying your email address, you are authorizing CIC to
use your email address for communication including transmission of
personal information on your file/case.

and also i did fax to NY consulate and ottawa.
I did not understood why they gave me this type of reply.

  @  narsanna
The reply you got is a standard one you get
automatically after sending the mail it comes
less than 5 mins.(it's an auto response)
It takes couple days to write you if they will
reply to your enquiry.

Congrats man!
Pls got some questions for you
can you give more details of the documents you used for the AVR
at the port of entry back and what questions were
asked and your response to them?
Did you come back by air ,water or land?
