Congratulations for those who Got PPR request ,those whose  Ecas says medical has been received and Good luck to those who are waiting.
I just have a question concerning my application if somebody has some some thoughts to share.
I applied under AINP under Empolyer Driven stream. My medical reached Ottawa in the 24th of june 2009.I am still waiting for PPR request or Ecas update.
I have another File Under Skilled worker category,I just received from buffalo a mail to do medical.
I have two applications  in process.I am curious to know if it is good to keep them both and do the second medical or wait alittle bit to see if i am going to receive PPR request from Buffalo under AINP.
Please your thoiughts are very cruial.
Thanks

My thoughts:

Why would you want to pursue both of you application. You are almost there with AINP and they can NOT turn it down unless its security matter. Once a person has state nomination, the only concerns Feds have are Medical and Security. If there is an issue with any of these , its would still be there if you go through FSW.
Also, in case of your FSW , you got Medical request but you are not sure they are okay with everything else except above two.

Agree, AINP Nomination is 70% of your case, as soon I got my nomination I cancel my FSW, also FSW ask for IELTS AINP don't

Peace

FSW or AINP you have to decide. However, as others pointed AINP is better. Most important thing is you cannot have two simultaneous applications with CIC. It might lead to problems.

Hello Folks Looks like my wait is over !!

I emailed NY CONsulate on Monday and today i got reply from them see what they have to say...........

Dear Mr. XXXXXXX

We have received your medical results and your file appears to be ready for a final review.

You will be notified in writing of any additional pending documents and /or requirements.

Thank you for your interest in Canada.

Yet ecase is not been updated hoping to get it updated next monday..............
This info will be helpfull for all the people who are close to my timeline.

Thank you all for support.

Someone also got this type of email reply in this forummmmmmmmmmmmm. does anyone know who was that person? i want to know how long did it take to get PPR for that person after he got such email?
Despo your case seems extremely fast. Your Money order was cashed on July 16th and now you are close to PPR. It is less than 4 months!!!!

Hi Girl,

that was good calculation. I never thought that way that everything happened for me within 4 months. I still feel that long way to go for some reason.

Question for you guys !!

As i told you my wife and son  both are in India at this moment. I was thinking does my wife need to sign any forms or anything when PPR comes to me.? (at present trying to find best option to get Passport from India to US)

when PPR comes what other stuffs are included in the package?

It's one letter with instructions on how to send the Passports, One letter asking you for a new set of pictures with that weird size, One letter that you need to sign authorizing to mail the passports to you, if you haven't not paid your landing fee time to send that too.

I think is pretty much it.

Cheers!

Yoohoo! My wife just called me. She just received PPR. I am in Edmonton right now. I am waiting to go back home next week. Anyways, I have sent my kids passports for renewal to Indian Consulate, Houston. So I guess there is nothing much I can do until I get them, except looking at PPR Smiley
Despo, any news?
