hey nix got a question for you.
When did ottawa received your medical and when did your ecase status updated. want to see how long normally it takes.
ottwa received my medical on 10th september 2009.
today is 23rd October so almost 43 days passed...
want to see how many days it took for you. also if other people in forum remember their exact date could you please post it.

15JUL09-Medicals done of the entire family
22JUL09-Medical sent to Ottawa via DHL
23JUL09-Medical package is delivered
28JUL09-File transferred to New York from Buffalo (seen on e-CAS)
10AUG09-Received the actual letter from Buffalo about file transfer
07SEP09-e-CAS updated with medical received
19OCT09-Received passport request, dated 10/15, mailed 10/16

NIX -- 23rd July - 7th September = 44 Days...
CCH -- 25th June - 28th September = 94 Days...
For Those whose medicals are reached in Ottawa but no ecase update ( People like me )
DESP -- 10th September -- Date Not Available elapsed days = 44 days.

thank you all who participated in recent servy for medical timeline.  looking at nix time line for medical no harm anticipating ecase status changes on this monday. but again if i look at cch and bb than i feel that it is too early to see updated status. 3 days left for monday..... lets keep our fingure crossed and pray for the best !! |

Well just relax nothing you can do, I remember eat like a bear the days before and nothing happened. :-D |

Karl,
Just relax and drink a lot of water for next few days. Do not drink beers and sodas and if you can stop smoking for a while (if you smoke), that would help. The best thing is to relax and take it as a normal routine check up. It would help if you know what normally happens during the test. Being familiar with the process makes you relax and not worry too much. If you want to read what normally happens during the test, please read my blog. But keep in mind that not all the DMPs follow the exact procedure as it is described in the DMP Handbook. But all of the DMPs will make sure the main check ups and tests. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
