hello - here's my timeline:

nomination received - January 20, 2009
sent to CIC - April 11, 2009
received by CIC - April 15, 2009

I am yet waiting for check to be encashed... I am crossing my fingers.

It was Ontario...but CIC takes the same time for all PR applications under PNP.
So I think her line is the same one we are taking...

I wrote to Buffalo asking about the AOR, lokk what I've got:

Permanent resident applications are created in our database and
acknowledge letters are sent to the applicant within approximately 30
weeks of receipt based on existing volumes.   Until an application is
created in our database and an acknowledgment letter has been sent  we
are unable to respond to inquires.

 Any application submitted without the required documents and
information will be returned to the applicant.

if they are talking about all cases (not just H1B SRS cases), then I guess the 30 weeks could be true. hmmm.

Thanks! CIC got my application Feb 4th and I received AOR/medicals today, Apr 24th, dated Apr 22nd.
