Hello All,

Does anyone know the answer Huh

Are they supposed to make decision before the expiration of Medicals ( which is 1 year).

In case they ask to redo the medicals . WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST?

I PAID ALMOST $1500 FOR MYSELF, WIFE, 3 KIDS. ALSO, I PAID $1000+ATTORNEY FEE FOR PREMIUM PROCESSING SINCE ALBERTA WAS NOT ACCEPTING MY USCIS RECEIPT NOTICE EVEN THOUGH I SENT THEM LAST 8 YEARS OF H-1B APPROVALS.

I know ZAD it is frustrating sometime. But nothing we could do about it. We took initiative and applied for immigration. CIC could ask anything anytime no matter how complete your documentation is. Unfortunatly we are responsible for all cost associated with entire process including medicals. Hope they make decision before your medical expires so you dont have to go through all lenghty process again.

whats your time line?
good luck

I am only interested in PPR if i get it within next 10 days from now. If i dont get it in next 10 days than i can wait no hurry as my wife will be leaving for india on 14th october.

My medicals have been sent!!! Right now somewhere between New York and Ottawa!

On a serious note, from trackitt it seems the wait from the medicals to passport request is roughly 45 to 90 days, closer to 45 days, if one has no extra documents requested.

Well, it's been 65 days since they received my medical in Ottawa (Jul 23) and still no PPR. No documents were requested (I have included everything initially). I am not sure what the NY Office people waiting for. Looks like I will be the unlucky one who needs to wait 90 days.
