I have a question. I will be moving to Canada by the end of May, and i will be shipping my stuff with the moving company right around the same date. i hope the stuff will reach 2-3 days after i reach , but u never know.
now my question is , should i put all this stuff on "Goods to Follow" Form , or as the "goods accompanying".
thanks

I would say Go ahead and Do landing, that keeps you safe, calm and confident. From there you should prove your intent that you would be working in multiple countries as the role demands, and infact that should be a positive for your GC. Bibo
If I understand your question correctly , you are asking if you dont do the landing at all ...and just go for stamping in the home country. Will they have an issue with the Immigrant visa stamp in the passport.
1.Since the visa is dated if you go after the date guess there will be no questions asked. 2.If you go before the date it might depend on the US consular officer but still probably will not be perceived as the same case as having landed and possessing the Canadian green card.
However if you dont do the landing...you will have to restart the whole process for the Canadian PR and you will be losing the Canadian PR. I guess your PD must be very close for you to take that decision...
Ultimately the choice is upto you....situation is a little tricky. By law one cannot hold both PR's and one has to be surrendered. Unforunately with 7th YR H1 extensions which get based on you pursuing an US Green card ....the consular officer if alert will notice the Canadian PR and will question the intent.
Either way good luck .Hope you choose wisely and stick with either one. You can browse other US immigration forums where people have posted their experiences.....In most cases they renounce one of them after getting the PR they want. 7th Yr extension cases are tricky usually.

Nothing wrong in procuring both GC & USA, if you are eligible they will give it and let us be honest with our intent. Both countries are pro to each other. So let us not worry and there are bigger people to take care of it. If you are a multi-national manager, they will process your permits much faster under cream quotas. Please Correct me if I am wrong! Take it in a positive way man! Less employment competition for those who are moving seriously

We can still stay there with out job, dont have leave immediatly on the day you lost project, got layed off. We will get all 100/100 not 75/100. If we are smart we can save our 1/3 of earnings by buying a house instead of paying rent.... people add on to the list.. otherwise we will forget.. LOL wow..seems like they are keeping track of the ainp pr's.. what kind of visa you have to apply and do you get your PR cards or not..
I am thinking to land in may so its a better idea to make sure I reach calgary in regular hours.. did you come back to US ? ..may be thats the reason they want us to fill the complete information about our address etc..damn this is even worse than H1b..you cannot live/work in other province..lol
Regards..

Calgary2010 It is not a question of intrepretation .If it were so every multinational manager could file for 150 different PR cards in 150 countries and stay one year in all of them. USCIS has the following memo and many other Immigration forums have posts, including an user in this thread who posted his landing experience where the CBP officer lets you know you cannot keep both. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=3f443a4107083210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=3f443a4107083210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD"Move to another country intending to live there permanently Remain outside of the United States for more than 1 year without obtaining a reentry permit or returning resident visa. However, in determining whether your status has been abandoned, any length of absence from the United States may be considered, even if less than 1 year" 1.7th Yr extensions when based on pending Labour applications are tied to the Labour application being alive. 2.Possessing the Canandian PR means you intend to live in Canada and if you do not you will anyhow not be meeting the residency requirements for Canada. Any alert officer will notice that and it will put the 7th yr extension and GC appplication in jeopardy. Better to keep the story straight and also the H1 extension papers have questions about Labour filing status and also immigration to other countries. Anywaz I do not wish to lengthen this topic. Bibo please consult a good lawyer and also look at other forums where people have posted their experiences. Regards Lights I would say Go ahead and Do landing, that keeps you safe, calm and confident. From there you should prove your intent that you would be working in multiple countries as the role demands, and infact that should be a positive for your GC.

That is exactly what I meant. Each individual has different circumstance and they take the decission based on it. There is nothing right or wrong just matter of personal preference.

Canvan I had posted originally too and you might have missed my post.I got asked by Buffalo to resubmit my FBI certs for the third time after they rejected two earlier ones dated March 2010 and July 2010.In March 2011 they accepted my FBI certs dated Dec 2010 .Just hang in there you will get it as well. Also you might have noticed the FBI processing time has reduced to 6 weeks on their website.People are getting it soon enough. Today got my passport request , you will get it as well.
