Hi All,

I recieved my nomination in Jul, 2009
Application recieved by CIC Buffalo: Feb, 2010
Application Transferred to CIC New York office: Feb, 2010

I recieved letter from Buffalo in March 2010 that my application has been recieved by Buffalo Office, and that letter also included Immigration File Number along with Medical Exam forms and it stated that do not schedule Medical Exams untill 3 months from the date of Letter.

My question: When can I Schedule my Medical Exam since it has already been 4 months? or Should I wait for any other specific AOR/Medical Request from CIC?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much!

Dear All,

I would like to know if my Money Orders are encashed. Checked with the post office where I bought the MO's for more than couple of times and they have given me one 800 number, when I called it gives me only the validity of the MO ( Nothing else ). Tried filing a form called ' Money order enquiry' form and voided it after hearing that it would actually stop paying the bearer.

I would appreciate if you let me know if there is a way out to find out whether my MO's are encashed.
( Guess MO is the worst option to send across   Sad)

Application mailed to CIC Buffalo : May 3rd,2010
Application received by CIC Buffalo: May 4 th,2010
Money order encashed:  ( Waiting to know whether encashed or not )

Thanks & Best Regs.

Waiting for passport request??
Applied to CIC in Jan 2010, submitted Meds in May, Now waiting for Passport request.

I think it takes 3 months so may be end of July, or August.
This is the last wait, or may be second last, waiting for passport to return after stamping would be the last.

Your timelines are pretty different from others in the forum.  U can get your medical done now since its already 4 months - infact u could have done it a little earlier as well.  I dnt think they will send u another Medical request.

Need help.....We just got AOR and medical request yesterday. The instruction says we should arrange medical exam within 60 days, however I'm pregnant now and can not do X-ray until the baby is coming at the end of Sept. What should we do right now? Anyone was in the same situation, pls advise, thanks a lot.

BTW, medical exams need 2 passport size photograghs. Is this "passport size" referred to US passport or Canada passport or home country passport?

The pregnancy issue was discussed earlier in the forum, please search for it to get the response.
Application for Canada refers to canada passport size.
