FBI second submission on mar 25th - responded in 5 weeks for a resubmission
FBI third submission on around may 4th - after 4 1/2 weeks , they say its going to take 3-4 weeks more..... and my nomination will expire by then......... Undecided Huh

having no choice .......today I sent in my application to CIC, without fbi for principal applicant and with old country pcc for spouse, and all other valid documents .......lets see how it goes....

good thing you applied before the nomination expires. Just keep in mind that you still need those documents and keep it ready as they will ask in the future as soon as they start processing your application.

There was one guy whom i knew did not submit any pcc or FBI record and i was surprised that CIC did not ask for any pccs and he got approved. I am not sure how much to belive on such rare incidents.

good luck;

FBI first submission on jan 13th - responded in 9 weeks for a resubmission
FBI second submission on mar 25th - responded in 5 weeks for a resubmission

Hi,

I just received my police clearance from my country and it wasn't in a sealed envelope.Would that be a problem? I've been reading somewhere here that it has to be in a sealed envelope. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

No problem.  There is no need to send PCC in sealed envelope - countries have different ways of providing PCC. You should make copy and keep for ur records.

Hi

I submitted my application along with all the relevant documents on 5/25 to Buffalo along with my AINP nomination. Have not recieved any response from CIC as of yet. Checked today with the Bank the cheques have not been cashed as of yet. Can anyone point me to how I can verify the status of my documents from CIC online  or by phone? Dd anyone have similar experience where CIC took long time to respond back after first submission?

Thanks

Just sit tight. Check with your bank by the end of this month to see if check en-cashed
