I sent the application to CIC on last friday.

Yes, this is the complete list of documents. But do we need to send the FBI and PCC in original ? I send the copy of them..

Some one Please confirm??

Folks,
I had sent my medicals in early February and today when I checked ECAS, it states : "We transferred your application to the Los Angeles office on February 22, 2010. The Los Angeles office may contact you."

Now, I understand its good news, but the caveat is that I live in PA and I always assumed that the file would be transferred to NY office (local) due to the geographical proximity!. Has anyone experienced this issue before?

Also, how long would it take to receive passport request from the date of Ecas update?

Regards,
6Sigma

I don't know the current times, but here is my time line:

PPR: Aug 08, 2009
e-CAS updated with receipt of Medical results: Aug 03, 2009
file has been transferred to NY NY office: Jun 26, 2009
Medical Fedex receipt date: Jun 26, 2009

Hello Seniors

I sent the CIC application with copies of FBI and PCC, but just learned that these should be original.

What do you guys think is the quicket way to resolve this, send the originals to them(but I don't have a reference #) or wait for them to return the application

Please advice

Thanks

Bibo,
Amount of money should have no negative impact if you put more than $10K
Having more money with you is not negative.

6Sigma,

How long it took you to get Medical request after you submitted  documents to CIC , BUFFALO ,

Also did you get AOR / Medical request together or seperately ?

Thanks

1) My check was encashed sometime in mid September and the medicals request was sent to me during the first week of Jan 2010..so that is close to 4 months in my case.

2) Together.
