Stlguy:

Nomad was only pulling your leg Smiley

Cheers,

Yes, i had problems getting the FBI clearance for my wife, because of the fingerprint quality.. It took 3 attempts to get the FBI clearance...

You should probably invest in a dishwasher and washer/dryer for your wife
kidding.... obviously Wink

Conrgatulations!

I hope you are not a doctor!!! There are hundreds of reasons for not having clear fingerprints!
At least in US, one of those reasons is not because of dishwasher, washer/dryer.. Even the really bad apartments do have dishwashers..

Hey nix1,

We have almost same time lines. My application reached buffalo on 27 April and my check got cashed on 18 May. I just want to know that did you get ur immigration file number fromt he back of your check and if so can you see the status online yet. Also when did your check got cashed.

At the beginning, I was having hard time finding where the file number was located on the check and nomad_musafir helped me with that, but I was not able to read it. So, I have never been able to check my status online. My check got cashed on May 7th and I still have not received my AOR+Medicals.

Anybody have some idea on this ?

I sent my CIC application in March 2009 and recieved medical request in June 2009 . When I submit my application at CIC in March 2009 the PCC from States in US are already more than 3 months that is the PCC were given in the month of Oct 2008. CIC has not mentioned about the PPCs so far. Will it be better to get a new PCC and send it to CIC in advance to avoid delays ? What is the chance that CIC will ask to send new PCC due to PCC being expired at the time of submitting the application ? Thanks for Help .

Has anybody tried CAIPS?
If you have someone in Canada you can get it free. Else one can go through some firms (about $60 I guess). Looks like it will have complete notes of  "file in process". For those who are waiting for long, this may be useful!!
There is some info here http://www.caipsdirect.com/

BCGuy, Leon, PMM do you have any inputs on this?

Check this link. I think your BIL can order it and send it across to you

It used to end with [PN] when I got it from Buffalo. When the letter came from LA it had [AM] instead of [PN]. Just wondering if it is used for FSW. PN I guess is for Provincial Nominees.

Jay007,

They have asked you to send current employement letter too, is that what you are saying?

Are you working in India? What happens if you send that one? Have they specifically asked for you to submit a letter from a US employer or the employer you were with when you applied for the AINP process?
