I thought I should start this thread to Try and track Processing times of the local consulates as this will help member know when they can hear from Local consulate after file is transfered.
For example
Medicals recieved and entered by IMS Ottawa on april 23.
My file was transfered to the LA consulate
on- april 29th
waiting for news.
etc.

NY consulate recieved RPR fee jun 17 09

Comon guys more files have been transfered than thes this will help those whose files are just being transfered to have an idea how long it takes for local consulates to contact them.

Application reached Buffalo on 5th Jan.
Medicals received by IMS Ottawa on April 4.
My file was transfered to the NY consulate on April 7th
Haven't heard anything yet.

I am not a lawyer. Any information provided should be verified for its legal stand in the Rule of Land.
My PR application statu: Medicals done on 27th March, resubmitted X-rays on 14th July, resubmitted one medical rpt Aug & got my PPR in Nov.

Application reached Buffalo on Feb 17th.
Medicals received by IMS Ottawa on May 22nd.
My file was transfered to the NY consulate on May 20th.
ECas update "Medical results have been received" on June 15th.
RPRF sent to NY visa office on June 18th.

My file was transferred to NY on Mar 31
ECas updated "Medical results have been received" on 4/27
PCCs and RPRF requested by NY visa office on May 06
Docs sent on Jun 11

How did they decide which files are transferred to each consulate.. Is it based on the location of the PNP applicant? eg. BC always go to Seattle??

LOL Dna you are funny. You are supposed to be here. It is also important for members to know that not all files are transfered to local consulate.Some are processed in Buffalo. |

I'm not sure I should be here or not... but here is my question with timeline
Application reached Buffalo on Feb 11
Medicals reached Ottawa by May 21. [that what tracking shows]
Never received anything saying "My file was transferred to NY or anywhere"......So please someone tell me how do I know where is my case/file.....Should I consider that my file is processing in Buffalo?
ECas shows "In process".............that all it's says
Received a query on May 21 asking filling gap in personal history. Docs sent after 2 weeks.
PCCs and RPRF requested by NY visa office on May 22. Docs sent June17
What would be next stage if anyone can tell....? And please let me know about file transfer process... What is it all fuss about?

If you did not recieve any letter from Buffalo that your file has been transfered to any local consulate that means it's being processed in Buffallo. your next step should be Passport request if you are a Provincial nominee |
