Author Topic: Online Study Permit Extension Application Not Working  (Read 730 times)

hello . i've been trying to apply for an extension to my study permit (which is expiring next month) online for about a week now. I keep getting a 500 Server Error, and it's not letting my start my application. I'd like to know if anyone is facing the same problem, and if anyone knows if its common for these server crashes. I'm really short for time now.

I could try sending my application through a package, but that increases cost for me and also processing time would be great.

any help would be much appreciated!

by the way, I emailed question  @  cic.gc.ca reporting the problem, but they said they would take UP TO 15 business days to reply - not really going to help. I also called the help-line, and they said they were aware of the problem but that my best bet was to keep on trying.

once again, any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: I registered a different Epass with my Client-ID number, and now when i click on Apply Online, it says "This On-Line Service is Currently Unavailable."

Same problem with me as well. Server Error for few days but yesterday I could manage to log in apply work permit. Hope CIC will rectify it and resolve it.. All the best to you!
