Online IELTS?

I am presently in the UK and about to start my application for FSW1. My english proficiency is quite high but do i still need to take a proficiency test? If yes can i take the test online?

Yes. Every POST 26June Applicants have to appear in IELTS and to my knowledge, you can't take it online. you have to register a date at nearest IELTS center and you have to appear personally to take test.
