Online extension of Work Permit under same employer!

Dear All,

I'm on work permit from last year, which will expire at sep 2011, I got contract as my employer extend an offer of employment for me for another 12 months.

Now when I submitted the online application, it only ask me to upload my passport copy and medical receipt? My application already submitted as I paid.

Is it normal? How they will know my employer renew my contract? How can they get my employer detail for work permit?

P.S. I already sent my Federal Skill worker  category 2(permanent offer of employment) application this year which is approved and now under process of Buffalo visa office.

Please anyone or senior  can help me in this regard, I'll really appreciate.

I submitted/transmitted my on-line application for work permit renewal last May 20, 2011. In my application, I was asked to upload my passport but I was not asked to upload my job offer. The job offer was extended to me February 14, 2011. My work permit expired June 14, 2011. I realize now that I actually needed to upload my job offer also. Is there any way that I can correct this? Can I still forward my job offer by mail? Or on-line? Please help me. Thank you so much!

Hi ladyjen,

We are sailing on the same boat, but I inquire from seniors and they told, I need to get LMO first, each time when we need to renew our WP, we need a new LMO from HRDC

I asked my employer and he is posting job and they he will apply for LMO, once we have that, then we need to proceed for renewal.

This is for sure, I even verified from CIC, I called them and they suggested me to get LMO then go for renewal, I hope my $150 funds will be reimbursed.

Please discuss your case with me in detail, I hope many of them get their answers with our discussion.
