If you are travelling alone, always take the seat which is adjacent to aisle. That way, you will not have to jump over sleeping passengers to go to the toilet
You will have to see whether you are allowed to do online check in. Alongside, you will have to drop you bags beforehand to some designated spot too. This is a good way to skip the check in line or you can always go to there early (my preferred method).
Planes are always stable at the mid section of the aircraft (near the wings). So try taking the middle cabin (if you can do online check in). Or else, they will just assign you the cabin which is assigned for the passengers from your country.
