Whoopi,

I must admit I had an epiphanal moment when I finally found marmite on the shelf at Sobeys.  Almost equalled when I found cheese and onion crisps at a market stall.  Vancouver sounds a bit different to New Brunswick where I am currently. I love it here, to me it's kind of like the UK but much friendlier and much safer.  There are differences of course and the over use of the word awesome is a bit too much but over all I don't find the differences too striking unlike with USA.  Only thing I really miss other than my family of course is football (soccer).   Sending my application in very shortly after we achieved the year to get common-law status via an extended visitor visa. Fingers crossed!  Oh and back in the UK we really have to introduce being able to turn (left) on a red light.

Ace post, and Chocolate is different in Canada too, I get my Mum to send me dairy milks and Galaxy bars from UK lol

I do this too!  And I also get my family and friend to occasionally send me out boxes of PG Tips Pyramid Teabags too.  No offense, but the whole Orange Pekoe thing they have going on with Tea out here turns my stomach LOL!
