Hi,

For those who sent their application before 26 June 2010 and received their AOR, do we have to send both check lists (visa office checklist and CIO checklist ) and  with the supporting documents?

Thanx,

Thank you " Canadian_girl "

but when I cheked the london visa office shecklist at the first page I found this:

" IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER APPLICANTS:
For applications received at the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) on or after June 26, 2010, you must submit to the CIO all documents listed on this checklist and the (CIO) document checklist - IMM 5612. You must submit the documents from both checklists only once to the CIO."

does that mean in my case ( I submitted before 26th June 2010) I have to send both check lists or the checklist for the visa office only?

Since you applied before June 26 2010, you need to submit
1) Copy of the application you submitted to the CIO with original signatures (remember way back, when you read the instructions before submitting your application to the CIO they asked you to make 2 copies ... well, one is for yourself and the other one is to now submit to the Visa Office)
2) All the other documents listed in your Visa Office Checklist.  Careful here - since you sent copies of the documents this time you must send certified copies where asked.

Good luck.

<Note for post June 26 2010 applicants - to avoid confusion, you should submit every document in either of the checklists to the CIO, but you only need to submit one copy of each document.

So, for example, if the checklists list:

CIO Checklist
Document A
Document B
Document C

VO Checklist
Document B
Document D
Document E

You must submit ONE copy of each of the following documents: A, B, C, D, and E to the CIO>

These are just some thoughts based on the information available, what I've read, and my experience.  I am not an expert; if you want the facts, cic.gc.ca has a wealth of information.  Good luck with your application!  Hope you have a wonderful day *smile*
