on work permit in Canada, where do I apply?

I am currently on a work permit (Sept 2006 - Sept 2008) and have been in Canada since last September. I wanted to know which office would my application go to? Home country or Buffalo?

Any insight would be appreciated.

If you need a US visa and don't have one, I would suggest you apply to your home country rather than Buffalo.  If you don't have a US visitor visa and you have to attend an interview, the US will not usually issue one.  But it is your choice, check the processing times for both offices.
