When we sent of for our childrens proof of citizenship certificates we got a letter back saying it could take 12-15 months to get them.
Knock at the door this morning and here they are after only 3 MONTHS.
We sent it on the 7th May we got a letter on the 17th May saying they we being sent to canada certificate letter is dated the 19th July and we got them this morning on the 16th August.
Right now i am so so happy that i dont hae to worry about it and i can now apply for there passports.
Oh happy day, so if anyone is worried about the time that is stated dont be you neer know if its right

I am sweating on my certificate. Got the letter back on June 17th, saying 12-15 months, but I'd requested a fast track, so they marked it as "Urgent". (see my other thread). Still no news from them and my flight is supposed to be September 21st
