If you can get a job offer (AEO) you can apply either as a skilled worker and get PR right away or you can apply under PNP with employer support and get PR right away.  In both cases, you would not actually have to work after you get your PR.  Or if you can get a temporary work permit, you can do PNP with an employer and have your PR in hopefully a year, worst case 2 years.
