Dear All,

Do CIC ask for the old expired passport since the applicant is 18?

Coz my 2 old passports are not availble, lost them in an accident.

What if the CIC is asking for them, what could be the solution coz I dont have the copies too.

Hi
With CIC ,get into the habit of crossing a bridge when you get to it,if they ask for old passports and you lost them in an accident, then send in note explaining the situation. You should have reported the lost of passports to the local police .So it would be helpful to send also the police report.

You got the point, most people have learned that volunteering information only brings about an extra level of processing which in turn delays the final decision. On the other hand I have read on this forum that applicants must submit details of all passports they have held . With the initial application the request is on the forms, but if the loss happened after you have applied, then they could request it during the processing period then you explain at that stage.
