sup yall?

i wanna inform the lovely public on here that i landed "aboot" 6 months ago, i must say i think we have had it better than most of you will find it once your visa's finally come through,  most immigrants regardless of social or educational status will still get low paying minimum wage jobs once they get here! so keep that in mind, the idea of you comming here, getting that $150,000 job and all is just a dream even for educated and citizens of canada! DO REMEMBER THAT WITH THE RIGHT ATTITUDE DREAMS ARE POSSIBLE! do i want to go back home? NOW FREAKING WAY  Tongue! i was enrolled into university to finish my business degree! i got a higher end restaurant job paying $12/hour within 3 weeks of my landing (MAKING WAY MORE THAN BUSINESS MEN/WOMEN MAKE BACK HOME IN 2 weeks than they would make in 3 months <--- Atleast where im from)... having a lil trouble making friends but thats cause of my personal immperfection when it comes to friends not canadians (had same issue back home), (thats why 6 months after landing i am still bored on a friday night looking at this site LOL) many opportunities but havent taken em yet!

lovely country! friendly people! (for the most of them) and one day hope to get you here!

p.s. im 17! moved with family from Zambia! in the GTA region!

just really think about it before you spend life savings moving from a good job to work at a macdonalds or kfc serving fries with a two piece meal!
and if your "engrish" is bad, thats even worse i tell you, accents are cute if minimal but some of what i heard around here? OMG Lips sealed have a good one
my visa process took less  than a year using pretoria and a lawyer! and if not implied cause of my age LOL, parents did it for me and dont have any more details! (there here with me)

i wonder why don't you try to start your own business, or any trade of your own?
There are so many opportunities if you are Canadian PR, you can travel all over the world, to any part of the world and close deals, find products/goods to import or export. Don't have to have a million bucks, just some common sense, persistence and willingness to think out of the box. Why everybody just looks for jobs? Cheesy

Be creative, be entrepreneural and you will have so much more chances to succeed.
