Off Topic : Visitor Visa for parents from India

Hello All,

I am permenant resident in canada and willing to bring my parents for a short visit here.

As part of that what all I need to provide for getting TRV for my parents to travel here.

Is there any requirement that I need to show proof of fund, employer letter or anything else.

Please guide me.

1. Provide evidence of your legal status here in Canada (Pr card)
2. Current job with salary specifications also attach your spouse's evidence for job
3. Proof that you can take care of their lodging (Apt lease or house papers) and Medical expenses.
4. Bank statement

For your parents:

1. Show strong ties to homecountry...house, relatives, job.
2. Return tickets
3. Medically fit certificate....i believe if they are of a certain age they might be asked for Medical tests
4. If you have evidence that they had been on Visitor visa (to any country) and returned back to home country...will be an additional support for application.

Best time spend together is with family and especially with parents.....Hope You guys get together soon and enjoy every bit of togetherness.
