i have a question, if i received the sponsorship approval by letter does that mean my wife's PPR will be sent by letter also or will they send it to her email or mine? If she gets letter i'm hoping that she will receive it as she's in Laguna and you never know about the mail process in Philippines if she will even get it as sometimes mail gets lost or not even delivered

My representative got mail about my husbands AOR and sponsorship approval, I received email about my VO AOR but when I log into my ecas it shows my representatives mail address not mine. So is my VO is going to email me or mail my representative about my PPR??? who knows? @ pinaynurse , so you got PPR or not  |

Your representative will get all correspondence. You should update the info online
It wont let me, when i try to update my address, there is only field where you can put your Canadian address , which makes no sense  |

Yayyyyyyy my wife got her letter in mail for additional docs and passport but is weird request, they are asking for Appendix A to be done and a picture, Advisory on Marriage, her Passport and the copy of requirement paper. What doesn't make sense is asking for another picture when we submitted 9 with the application plus we already had the AOM in our application also but they are asking for it again?
The letter is dated January 17th and she got it today
I understand about her doing Appendix A and sending PPR but why they asking for another AOM and picture when those were sent with application

If you are in Canada call them, and if you are outside you can use magicjack or this http://www.freephoneline.ca/ and you can call them and ask. you should have all sponsors info, they will ask you to verify account |

once you appoint a representative, he is the only one authorized to transact business with them unless your attention is directly called by cic/embassy. You will only delay the process if you interfere. Remember that you appointed them in your behalf. Your rep has other clients too. There are legal matters/procedures which are better left to them. But if you thought that you perfectly have the documents required and there are no controversies/gray areas in your application, why appoint a rep in the first place if you have the time to personally attend to your requirements. You just added a layer of delay in that case. Just be patient |

Here is my information to share....
Visa office - Moscow, Russia
Type of Sponsorship - Spouse
08/16/2011 - Medical Exams done.
10/05/2011 - Mailed my application to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga. The application package was successfully delivered on October 7, 2011.
12/14/2011 - Received a letter confirming that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2011/10/07. UCI and Application No. are indicated.
12/19/2011 - You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.
01/26/2012 - This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2011/10/07. I received this letter on behalf of my wife because I am her representative. They provided her UIC number. |

I just got this email:
It seems weird to get an email now, a few weeks after getting sponsorship approval, saying that they got our application in October. Did anyone else get something similar?
I received an email too regarding my sponsorship approval on Jan. 11. and 2 days after i checked my ecas it says IN Process and they start processing on Jan. 11 same day of my approval as sponsor. It stated too medical result has been received. |

E-case is just *censored word* nothing more than that honestly because i realy cant understand why they acting like that but any way thank god finally may wife today got letter of sponsorship and it dated by jan 20 20.12 and funny thing that she got email around Jan 20 telling us they got our application in October 24 .2011 so the freak E-case just showing my name and saying application recieved in October 2011 so plz can you add that to spreadsheet plz so any body who didnt get aproved you from october applicant dont worry you will something soon but mine it take almost 86 days with this crazzzy lazzzzzy immigration
