Happy to hear all the great news!
Anyone from October still waiting for their approval?....I have a feeling they might've "misplaced" my file :-( my application was received on October 11th, I received the acknowledgment of receipt November 25th and I'm still waiting to find out if I'm approved as a sponsor....I contacted them this week and they said they'd get back to me as they are looking into the issue....has this sort of thing happen to anyone?! I'm trying not to stress too much....any advice appreciated..!

Yap. This happened to me. So call them at least two times a week for update if u are restless like me. Otherwise you may wait..You will be approved .. |

Ours was received on Oct 27 and "official" approval was given on the 9th of this month, though we received it just yesterday via email. hopefully the next part of the process doesn't take 11 months as the site would lead me to believe!

I am sure you are approved. I was so nervous about ours not being approved. If there is nothing wrong on the sponsorīs "life" you will be ok. My husband was charged with horriblee things (nothing to do with violence) for being around the wrong people in his youth and we got approved. You will be ok. |

Wow i really hope!!! thanks so much. I just don't understand why the mail is taking forever to arrive. My husband lives in Vancouver. It shouldn't take more than 7 days i think from Ontario. |

Okay everyone I am tottally freaking out right now  My wife just got an email requesting passports!!!! Here it is FAMILY CLASS APPLICANTS ALL DOCUMENTS TICKED MUST BE RECEIVED AT VISA OFFICE IMPORTANT: THIS WILL BE THE ONLY REQUEST FOR INFORMATION If we do not receive ALL these documents within ninety days (90) from the date of this letter, your application will be assessed based on the information on file and may be refused. THERE WILL BE NO FOLLOW-UP TO THIS LETTER X Valid ORIGINAL passport for yourself and each dependant immigrating to Canada. After the medical examination be done X A pre-paid airwaybill must be included with your documents Is this a PPR??? now question 1. I have submitted the medicals already should I let them know and mail the passports anyway? question 2. what is a pre-paid airwaybill. Yeah guys , i also encourage you to call CIC even if you are a 31st october applicant i think they have finalized the october cases but has not yet updated on the website , insist on getting an update and you will definitely know something , i called them twice , the first time in French and the second time in English they all informed me that i have been approved and the file sent abroad , i should just wait for the mail to come by post so , try if you can to have an update on your case

Oh ok. I am really planning on calling them. Just thought i will let Friday passed because usually mail man comes Tuesday and Friday. Well, since we are really curious of the decision i will for sure call them on Monday. Thanks everyone! |

I know it's very frustrating!! I'm heading back to Canada next week, I'm definetely calling them to get a more precise update.
