HMM... EASY TO SAY HUH? IF YOU ARE HOLDING A VISITOR VISA, MEANS YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WORK OR STUDY. THERE IS FOR SURE WAYS TO EARN SOMETHING, UNDER THE TABLE.. BUT I RATHER WAIT TILL I GET MY LEGAL STATUS THAN RISKING MY FUTURE  I BELIEVE IT WIL NOT TAKE LONG. |

Hi there october applicants...me and my husband is really blinded with whats really happening now. We hired an immigrant consultant to do things for us. He told us that the CIC received our application last October 3. He sent it last week of September. He said that it takes 67 days for the sponsor to be approved, that would approximately be more or less on 2nd week of December. I guess He didn't give us any Client ID or anything that we can use to access our application. When does Client ID usually given? Upon approval of my husband as a sponsor? My husband said, as soon as he is approved as a sponsor, and our papers forwarded to the Philippines, we will apply for visitor's visa, so that...well be together while waiting for the approval of our spousal sponsorship. Well, I'm just always optimistic coz everyday, my husband got depressed if I say, it will take a longer time for us to be together coz the processing is slower than before. Is there anybody in this forum knows the chances of approval for visitor's visa while waiting for spousal sponsorship?  Please help. AWWW.. DONT STRESS YOUR SELF TO MUCH. MY ADVISE, THE BEST THING TO DO RIGHT NOW IS JUST WAIT IN THE PHILIPPINES. OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICATION WILL ONLY TAKE MORE OR LESS 6 MONTHS. ONCE YOU GET THE FIRST APPROVAL ( SPONSOR ). YOUR CHANCE OF GETTING A VISITOR VISA IS 50/50. MIGHT AS WELL WAIT AND SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR YOU AND YOUR HUBBY FOR A BIG VACATION. I THINK BETTER ASK YOUR HUBBY TO VISIT YOU IN THE PHILIPPINES ( ITS WAY CHEAPER FOR HIM ) AND HE WILL LOVE IT, BECAUSE WE HAVE BETTER WEATHER. I AM JUST LUCKY THAT I AM ALREADY HERE IN CANADA FOR WORKING VISA THAT'S WHY ITS EASY FOR ME TO EXTEND MY STAY AND WITCH TO VISITOR. IF YOU HAVE A CONSULTANT YOU SAID, ASK THEIR OPINION. ITS BETTER TO ASK THEM FIRST BEFORE YOU APPLY. IF YOU CAN'T REALLY WAIT SIS, GO FOR IT!! APPLY FOR VISIT VISA WHO KNOW'S RIGHT? GOOD LUCK! |

yipee....i hope so sis. well, thats what our consultant told us before. hope he was not just making up stories or ill kill him, hahahaha!!!! wait, how should I consider myself? Inland or Outland? Im in the Philippines. The consultant who processed our papers is from Canada. He was the one who sent our papers to Mississagua (right spelling??) I still belong to outland right? Its too hard to be jobless. Though my husband is the one supporting me for everything but its different if you're the one earning. He doesnt want me to work coz I will never have time for him if I would (time zone diff).  My estimate date of approval would be Dec. 7 to Dec. 17...well, I hope it can be earlier than that |

well when i talked to a CIC agent they told me you should not do a visitor visa while your waiting for PR because it is more likely to deny u to come here for visitor, and if you read the papers Family Class it strictly said you can not do 2 Visa at one time, that u would just have to wait for decision for PR

@ rajneet....i've just finished talking to my husband, i told him about the timeline. All he said, "thats crazy!" . I guess, he has no choice but to go home again and be with me, since I cant be with him... told him, hopefully its going to be this week or next week. I'm scared that they would ask for additional documents...hope not I wonder why my cousin who is sponsored by his brother got the approval faster than me...I'm under spousal sponsorship, shes under relative sponsorship...why is her application was approved faster than mine??? I thought spousal sponsorship is way faster? hehehe |

I KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH.. WE HAVE THE SAME SITUATION. I AM NOT WORKING TOO. I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEAN BY NOT MAKING YOUR OWN INCOME I SUGGEST PREPARE YOUR SELF BEFORE COMING HERE, LIKE GETTING IELTS OR MORE TRAINING/DIPLOMA TO YOUR RELATED JOB. I know what it means, what I trying to say is that if im already a permanent residence in Canada I will work If I were in those situation I'll do the same too work to earn for the future help my hubby for the expenses and for my family, like your hubby does his canadian citizen and he loves you that why . I know we can't work if we are just a visitor. Like what I've said I know how you feel about your hubby. I didn't mean anything about that
